This post is also gonna be about work.
I am officially unemployed now.
1stFeb was the last day of work + company dinner.
The end of my first ever paying job.
Oh, how i am going to miss it.
I am definitely going to miss
-always coming to work late for like 5-15 mins, entering a familiar office and watching people loading goods for delivery while i stone cause i was late and have no idea what was happening.
-stocking up shelves, and mind you, not just any supermarket or convenient store shelves, but the ones at TangImportandExport.
-informing and telling da yi (big aunt) about amount of certain product if little of it is left.
-knowing immediately where to get the things people tell me to.
-snacking on da yi's snack and also chatting with her when we have absolutely nothing to do at all.
-boss's 'CHI FAN LE' and 'HUI JIA LE' and everything else.
-feeling satisfied seeing the hampers in CocoaTrees shops and knowing that i had a part to play in its making.
-pushing down trolleys for customers to their cars, and most of the time, parked outside of TatAnnBuilding which i had to pushing through this drain where the wheels always get stucked.
-planning and figuring out the best way to stack carton boxes in a way such that the space on the trolley or pellet will be fully ultilised.
-picking goods regardless da yi reading for me, mdmpeggy reading over the phone from her office room or doing it from the invoice myself.
-taking things from the warehouse when hearing things like 'i want 20 pistachios' i.e 1 carton.
-reading for da yi the things that customers took. ' one pistachio, 2 salted peanuts, 3 montmarte etc.
-packing goods into as little carton boxes as possible to lighten work for delivery or for myself when pushing down goods for customers.
-teabreak where boss or whoever will buy snacks, 60% of the time, it will be currypuffs, but always from different places, never the same currypuffs from the same store.
-chatting with people like AhKok or AhLoh during tiny breaks i have or when walking pass each other.
-the lunch sessions are the coffeeshop nearby or 8th floor.
-how i see those old fellows i work with, all over twice my age but yet able to work with and hang out with perfectly fine. Maybe because they are hanging out with someone only 18, i get to see that all these grown up boys actually have a kiddy side of them. I think it applies to all men. They may seem that they have matured, but when the opportunity arises, not hesitating to reveal their young and playful side of them.
-the memorable delivery experiences i had before working in office.
-learning so many things from Samri, i.e bro/UncleSam via his story telling sessions on armydays and kampongdays.
-seeing Samri's messy long curly hair whenever he comes back to office after deliveries.
-and remember the only tip is had from a customer for moving shitload of goods up to 2ndstorey via stairs and the first angbao of 2011 from this grandma thanking us for delivering.
-Benson talking so much crap about how Andy can be a jockey, which occupation is worth starting a business, being able to 'tell' which angmoh is from where when we see one crossing the road, treating me food when lunch begins at 9plus. etc.
-pushing trolley alone or with company to places like mandaringallery and rafflesplaceMRT where chicks all see you delivering.
-the feeling of accomplishment when getting my delivery done with the invoice signed and returning to office with completed deliveries.
-and of course, receiving my pay at the end of every week in cash knowing that its from my first job and hard earned money.

Company dinner was awesome, so was the company during dinner.
Its kinda sad knowing that i probably will not meet these people again ever in my entire life after 1stFeb2011 but nevertheless, i am so glad i met them.
Oh well, everything, good or bad, eventually comes to an end.
I am quite happy actually, for what god has given me so far.
Things that probably many others will never get to experience.
I shall not list them out as not to enrage the public and get them jealous. (LOLOLOL)
But this 2 months was definitely one i was thankful for.
May my life be smooth and continue meeting awesome people like them.
On a side note, CNY soon! And a new chapter of my life is about to unfold after CNY.
